Arlington Attorney Tom Spiggle frequently helps women with issues in the workplace.
He says Senator Al Franken’s resignation on Thursday was the right thing to do following several sexual misconduct allegations.
“It shows that you can’t get away with that kind of behavior and keep your job,” said Spiggle. “Where there’s smoke there’s fire. So I think it’s appropriate that as a public figure, he go.”
Spiggle says it’s extremely difficult for women to report sexual misconduct within Congress.
