ABOUT JESSICA N. GREER
Ms. Greer has years of experience in federal and private sector employment litigation. She has represented clients in federal and state courts and before administrative agencies such as the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) and the U.S. Merit System Protection Board (MSPB). She strongly advocates for individuals with claims of retaliation or discrimination based upon race, sex, religion, sexual orientation, or color under Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, as well as claims under the Age Discrimination in Employment Act, the Rehabilitation Act and the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), and federal and state whistleblower retaliation laws. She also handles violations of wage and hour laws in Virginia, Maryland, and the District of Columbia. In her free time, Ms. Greer volunteers and skates with D.C. Roller Derby or can be found spending time with her pets—a corgi and two cats.
Prior to joining the Spiggle Law Firm, Ms. Greer worked for a Washington, D.C. law firm that represented federal and state government and private sector employees. Ms. Greer earned her Juris Doctorate from American University Washington College of Law, and while there, she was a Student Attorney with the Community and Economic Development Law Clinic and served as an Articles Editor on the American University Law Review. Ms. Greer also served as a Legal Intern at the U.S. Small Business Association, where she focused on Employment and Labor law matters. Prior to law school, Ms. Greer worked as a legal assistant at a D.C. firm on construction law matters and primarily served as the contact for many of the firm’s corporate clients. Ms. Greer received a Bachelor of Arts degree in History with a minor in Russian from American University. During her undergraduate years, Ms. Greer worked at an English Immersion Camp in Russia, assisted an international relations professor, translated materials for a museum in Moscow, and advocated for women’s rights at the National Women’s Political Caucus.
