Cristabel Jimenez is an employment attorney whose legal career reflects perseverance, dedication, and a deep commitment to advocating for workers. She brings a unique perspective to her practice, having spent two decades working in the legal profession and advancing through virtually every level of a law firm before becoming an attorney. While working full-time, she attended evening classes at South Texas College of Law Houston, earning her Juris Doctor in 2019. Her hands-on experience provided her with a comprehensive understanding of the legal process and the importance of client service, teamwork, and effective advocacy.
Since becoming licensed, Cristabel has focused her practice on employment law. She has represented employees in matters involving workplace discrimination, retaliation, wage and hour violations, FMLA issues, workers’ compensation retaliation claims, and other workplace disputes. Cristabel also has significant experience representing federal employees in Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) matters, Merit Systems Protection Board (MSPB) appeals, disciplinary actions, and other federal employment disputes. Her background includes advocating on behalf of employees facing proposed removals, suspensions, and other adverse personnel actions, as well as negotiating favorable resolutions for clients.
A native Houstonian, Cristabel earned her Bachelor’s degree in English from the University of Houston. She is fluent in both English and Spanish, allowing her to effectively serve a diverse range of clients and help ensure they understand and feel confident throughout the legal process. Cristabel is passionate about standing up for employees and providing clients with zealous, ethical, and compassionate representation. She believes every client deserves to be heard, respected, and vigorously advocated for when facing challenges in the workplace.
Outside of her legal practice, Cristabel enjoys spending time with her husband and two daughters. As an avid traveler enjoys exploring new destinations and creating meaningful family memories along the way. She is also naturally curious and loves trying new experiences, whether that means discovering a new cuisine, learning a new skill, or taking up a new hobby. Her adventurous spirit and willingness to embrace new challenges reflect the same enthusiasm and determination she brings to her work as an attorney.
