Each year, we award the Excellence in Action Scholarship. This is a five thousand dollar award that recognizes a graduating high school senior who demonstrates academic potential, leadership, and a commitment to service.For 2025, we are proud to honor Zarrah Allen, a freshman at Virginia State University.
Why Zarrah Was Selected
Zarrah impressed our team with her dedication to her education and her desire to use her voice to support and uplift others. She is currently studying Mass Communications and Journalism at Virginia State University, and her goals reflect a clear passion for storytelling, creativity, and positive impact.
Although her accomplishments are wide ranging, what stood out most was her thoughtful approach to leadership and her interest in using her education to serve her community.

The Excellence in Action Scholarship was created to support future leaders who share our belief in fairness, opportunity, and service.
