Prior to attending law school in North Carolina, Ashley worked in communications and fundraising for non-profit organizations focused on providing education, healthcare, and other services to survivors of domestic and sexual violence, people living with HIV and HCV, and other minority populations, including LGBTQ+ individuals. After law school, Ashley clerked with the North Carolina Business Court for two years where she had the opportunity to work for three different judges, including the first female judge on the NC Business Court bench.

When not working, Ashley enjoys hiking with her dogs, playing tennis and recently pickleball, visiting breweries with friends, and traveling.
